John’s tall in both stature and talent. His projects have spanned the country and the globe with international projects in Japan, Korea, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Canada. His expertise lies in experiential interior and graphic design, wayfinding and placemaking.

In his role, he is responsible for leading and elevating creative design at api(+), and he collaborates with executive leadership to drive firm vision, strategy and culture.

He’s seasoned in a variety of project types including food retail, specialty retail, restaurants, food halls, mixed-use centers, entertainment concepts and sports facilities.

John earned his Bachelor’s degree in graphic design from University of Illinois.

Outside of work, John is passionate about volunteering and advocating for the arts and artists. He has volunteered with Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, a prominent national arts event held annually in Tampa, since 2015. He is currently a board member and served two terms as president.
