As Controller, Carrie Ness guides api(+)’s financial and operational strategy with both precision and a people-first approach. She oversees every aspect of the firm’s finance and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in all processes.

In addition to her financial leadership, Carrie directs api(+)’s human resources operations and serves as a trusted advisor to both staff and leadership. With more than a decade at the firm and a career rooted in accounting and business operations, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise and genuine care for the
people behind the projects.

Her career began as an accounting specialist, where she gained comprehensive, hands-on experience across accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Today, she applies that expertise to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in every aspect of the company’s financial processes. Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs and family. She also stays active traveling and tackling home renovation projects.
