Ed Busey is a seasoned business development leader with nearly twenty years of experience helping organizations grow through clear strategy and strong relationships. At api(+), he brings a steady, collaborative approach to guiding clients and advancing the firm’s reach.
 
His background blends architecture, design, branding and business development, giving him a unique perspective on how to elevate performance and strengthen market presence. He has led national sales initiatives, overseen multi-site branding programs, and supported rebranding efforts for major accounts.
 
Before joining api(+), Ed held multiple leadership roles at Harbinger and directed graphics and marketing at Powers Design Architects. Ed earned his degree in graphic design and advertising from the University of Alabama. He serves on the Urban Land Institute Tampa Bay Placemaking Local Product Council, which advances best practices that help communities create inclusive, resilient places, and he is an alum of Project for Public Spaces’ Placemaking course.
