Rachel has a passion for architecture and an unwavering commitment to excellence in design. As an architect, she cultivates visions into reality through her experience, education and training. She serves as a catalyst for creativity, spearheading design programs, with an exceptional touch that solidifies her role within the api(+) design studio.

Rachel’s life philosophy centers around being a lifelong student of the world while advocating for diversity and innovation. Her ascent to leadership at api(+) has been a journey where she has continued to develop her knowledge and consolidated her position within an industry that is constantly changing.

Among her academic achievements, Rachel holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Florida A&M University.

When she is away from the design studio, Rachel enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, snowboarding and photography. Travel is also a mainstay for Rachel, who has visited forty-five states and twenty-six countries.
