Take one step into any DOGPerfect location and you’ll notice it is not your average pet store. The executive team challenged our designers to use a market-style approach, as if at a market picking up fresh produce, to differentiate the stores as the top choice for pet owners. Ownership and our designers prioritized sight lines so shoppers did not have to walk through soaring shelves of dog food like typical stores. Walls in bright shades of green, brown and purple meet high ceilings and hardwood floors, and spacious interiors with market-style fixtures make customers feel welcome. Glass-front freezers showcasing raw foods, wooden barrels of plush toys and a wheeled display cart of fresh baked dog treats are strategically placed at the entrance to evoke the ambiance of a gourmet grocery store.
