Based on the successful design experience with api(+) on other Darden restaurant concepts, Darden Restaurants enlisted the expertise of api(+)’s design and architecture team to implement its Yard House prototype across multiple locations. The assignment called for the development of a Revit standards prototype set of documents as well as many design updates. The initial prototype was designed exclusively for steel and block materials. However, faced with the challenge of a complex building structure, our team also took on the responsibility of developing an innovative structural system specifically tailored for wood construction.
